In Australia, more and more companies are planting trees and providing carbon credits via Carbon Sequestration Programmes. Many of the progarmmes are unique projects that focus on supporting enduring plantings of a local type of eucalyptus (the mallee eucalyptus) to provide an inexpensive and affordable way for companies to minimize their carbon emission risk under an Australian Government\’s program that intends to reduce CO2 emissions in the country. The carbon companies work with the government in a number of enterprises that focus on slashing the environmental impact of companies being put up in the country. As such, it was assistive in the resolution of the Australian Government regarding the tax incentives awarded to corporations that have projects endorsing forest carbon sinks. It may be a long way still for the whole planet to see the positive effects of what carbon companies do. After all, trees do not grow overnight. Yet, the planet can rest easy knowing that the level of carbon dioxide will be greatly reduced after a while, that flora and fauna will once more flourish in places where they were once rare, and soil erosion will be stopped as mallee eucalyptus\’ roots take hold of the soil and never let go.
